Hello and thanks for visiting! I'm Alix Kelso, author of heart-warming and emotional romantic fiction. I'm happiest with my nose in a book, and love being curled up with a good story for an hour (or two!). In the past, I've worked as a shop assistant, waitress, hospital cleaner, and dishwasher, and eventually became a university lecturer. Although I loved the academic world of teaching and researching and helping my students, I always enjoyed writing stories in my spare time, and finally decided to pursue my dream of publishing a novel and becoming a writer. When my first book, The Perfect Moment, went out into the world, I was over the moon!

I live in my home city of Glasgow, Scotland, with my husband. When I'm not writing, I enjoy pottering in the kitchen, walking in the countryside and parks, and lingering over endless cups of coffee in my favourite cafes.
